Affirmation of God: I cry out to God for knowledge.

Today’s Scripture: Proverbs 2:3 AKJV: Yes, if you cry after knowledge, and lift up your voice for understanding;  Does God know us or what? He wired us and knows the exact order of the steps we must follow and how badly we must want them.  With passion and many times unintelligible sounds we must CRY OUT to Him for His knowledge. We know we do not ... Continue Reading »

Affirmation of God: My heart listens for God.

Today’s Scripture: Proverbs 2:2: So that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;  How do you “apply” your heart? Affirmation of God: I follow Godly passions.

Today’s Scripture: Jude 1:18 ESV: They said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.”  We have thousands of choices of passions to follow don’t we? Today’s Scripture: Proverbs 16:9 NIV: In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.  Are you a planner? Both of my friends Brandon at bigb94.wordpress.com and Patsy at patsycostner.blogspot.com both referenced Proverbs 16:9 as I was writing on 16:3 earlier this week. Well, as God works, I am here today following a day ... Continue Reading »

Affirmation of God: I commit my works to the LORD.

Today’s Scripture: Proverbs 16:3 NASB: Commit your works to the LORD And your plans will be established.  Another affirmation from this same verse is: I succeed because I commit whatever I do to the LORD. We can expect success. His success and not success defined by the world.  For example, the newer translations of Proverbs 16:3 say if we commit ... Continue Reading »

Affirmation of God: I am praying to the great and powerful God, the LORD Almighty.

Today’s Scripture: Jeremiah 32:18 NLT Tyndale: You are loving and kind to thousands, though children suffer for their parent’s sins. You are the great and powerful God, the LORD Almighty.  As I read Jeremiah’s prayer it reminded me of the mind blowing privilege we have to pray to the LORD who made  the heavens and earth with His great power ...
