I rise up for this day the LORD has given me.

Today’s Scripture: Judges 4:14 Jubilee Bible 2000: Then Deborah said unto Barak, Rise up, for this is the day in which the LORD has delivered Sisera into thy hands. Is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from Mount Tabor and ten thousand men after him. Let us rise up for this day the LORD has delivered for us. The LORD has gone ... I am directed by prayer

Today’s Scripture: Mark 1:38 ISV: "Let's go to the neighboring town," he replied, "so I can preach there, too, because that's why I came." What are the purposes of your prayers? Do you hope to direct God in someway to do what you desire or do you go to be directed by God? Jesus showed us the way to find direction and purpose. In Mark 1:35 Very ... Continue Reading »

Affirmation of God: I go in whatever direction the Spirit chooses.

Today’s Scripture:  Ezekiel 1:12 NLT: They went in whatever direction the spirit chose, and they moved straight forward in any direction without turning around. From this day onward I will bless you.” Has God given you something to do? Is there something you ... Continue Reading »

Do you have one experience that you can say has changed your life forever? If I had to give just one thing that has transformed my life, I could not give a ... Continue Reading »

Affirmation of God: Jesus and God the Father define me.

Today’s Scripture: Galatians 1:1 (ESV): Paul, an apostle--not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead— Paul made it clear who defined him as an apostle: Jesus and God the Father. The same should be true for us. In Galatians 1:10, Paul’s truth is our reality, if we are still trying to ... Continue Reading »

Affirmation of God: I find my way in the Word.

Today’s Scripture: Psalms 1:6 ESV: for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Please hang with me on this affirmation as it is not a direct extraction from the Holy Scriptures. Rather, this is a confirmation and conclusion based on living these six short verses of Psalms 1. I fully intended to write on the ... Continue Reading »
