Today’s Scripture: Then Deborah said unto Barak, Rise up, for this is the day in which the LORD has delivered Sisera into thy hands. Is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from Mount Tabor and ten thousand men after him. Judges 4:14 Jubilee Bible 2000
Let us rise up for this day the LORD has delivered for us. The LORD has gone before us and prepared this day for us. We each have our battles; we each have our choices of action.
When we arise without direction we can look to where the LORD is guiding us. Sometimes we need a Deborah in our lives to remind us that the LORD has gone before us to prepare our way.
I am thankful for those who have gone before me to prepare my way. I pray that I follow the LORD today. Let us rise up and go. If we are unsure of where to go let us ask the LORD and He will help us in providing His people to help direct us.
LORD, I have arisen for this day; draw my eyes and my heart to where You are leading me today. Where has the LORD gone before you today?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for going before me to prepare my way. Open my eyes and heart to where You are leading me today. I rise up now to follow You LORD and trust You to guide me. Show me now thine way. Amen

Tom, this resonated with me in several ways! I just love when He does that. Recently a friend and I have been doing a “just for this day” prayer and looking for what He has given us! just for this day, so we don’t get overwhelmed by all the tomorrow’s . Then this morning I was in Matthew chapter 3, where John the Baptist “prepared the way of The Lord and made His paths straight.”. Praying with you this day! God bless!
