Today’s Scripture: I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe. John 14:29 NIV
Really, Jesus has “told” you? I can hear the cynical or those yet to recognize Jesus’ promises questioning the validity of the Jesus experience.
For me it has happened. “It” has happened so often that I no longer doubt. I believe. In this fourteenth chapter of John Jesus tells us He is the way, the truth and the life. The more I have sought to learn about His way and read His truths the more I have found life.
I have experienced the Helper He promised; this Holy Spirit day after day has made so many things happen that Jesus told me would happen that I cannot help but believe. If we seek to know, we do come to know. Because I have seen Jesus I have seen God.
Really, you have seen God? Yes, I believe I have. Not what this world thinks of seeing but just as Jesus told me.
Will you seek to know what Jesus has told you?
Today’s Prayer: Our Heavenly Father, how great is Your name. Thank You for the life of Jesus. Thank You for providing Your Word as a way to know You. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who helps us experience and believe Your love for us. Please help me to do as You have commanded. Amen
