Today’s Scripture: But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” Acts 3:6 ESV
This is all I have. Like Peter and John we can raise others. All I want to do is give away what God has given me.
I believe we ALL have what someone needs. Sure, in general we all have love, grace and help to give but we all have special gifts. Even in Acts 3:2 “they” who laid this lame man at the gate beautiful gave what they had. We may never be known either but we have something to give.
You have something unique. Your combination of God’s woven design for you, your life experience and your place in life make you the one person to give what you do have. The evil one and this world robs us and makes us think what we have is not enough.
It is enough, give what you do have. What I do have, I give to you. I want you to know this joy.
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for what You have given me. Forgive me for hoarding Your gifts and help me to boldly give what I do have. What I do have is Yours and for those You intend. Help me to be faithful to give so others may join in praising the name of Jesus and know that You are our God. Please turn my gaze to those in need. Amen

I am praying this prayer today as well, Tom. Thank you, for reminding us the gifts of our Father are not only for us.

I’d never noticed that “rise up and walk” directly follows this Scripture. Thank you. When we give what we have, it’s more than enough and brings healing to others. Whew! Great stuff.

You give more than you even know Sis. What seems so small to us at times is HUGE in the lives of others. May we give what we have in Christ Jesus. In Him we are more than conquerors. Not in our strength but in the prosperity of our souls in which the Spirit of God resides. We do have that and we can give it away. BIG Blessings as you give.
