Today’s Scripture: You shall no more be termed Forsaken, and your land shall no more be termed Desolate, but you shall be called My Delight Is in Her, and your land Married; for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married. Isaiah 62:4 ESV
God delights in us because of who He is. The Spirit of God came to Isaiah and comes to us.
I am sure Isaiah was just like you and me in feeling inadequate and unworthy. Our worthiness is not based on our past or our current it is based in welcoming the LORD and His message to us.
How encouraging it is to know that God delights in us; already, right now. In Isaiah 62:7 the people of Israel were instructed to give God no rest; to constantly go to Him until He makes them a praise in the earth.
Let us give God no rest from our constant thanksgivings of His delight in us and our call to be a praise to Him in the earth. He will send His Spirit to us because He delights in us.
God delights in you, are you thankful and ready to be a praise?
Today’s Prayer: LORD God, thank You for coming to us. Thank You for delighting in me. LORD I pray You constantly hear my voice of praise and thanksgiving to You for Your delight in me. Forgive me when I fail to remember Your delight and to seek to be Your praise. LORD, please make me a praise to you in this earth. Amen

Oh this is JUST what I needed this morning, Tom!! I got up “rough”, but now that you’ve reminded me how much God delights in me, and that we should give Him no rest–wow, I’m ready to take the day in Victory with Him!! All glory to the Father my sis! He is BIGGLIER than we can imagine. His delight in us is beyond our understanding but it is there nontheless. LORD God thank YOu for giving us what we need. Your daily bread of delight tastes wonderful and we thank You as we break it together in Your Holy name!

Thank you Julie! His delight covers and repairs our brokenness. His hope is a great hope. I praise Him for His delight in us and for sending those people into our lives who encourage us and guide us in the way we should go. I tingle with Holy Spirit tingles at how the LORD will make your church and your message a praise in the Earth. I continue to pray as Paul did that our message make clear the mystery of Christ. If our only prayer is to desire His message is made clear through us, we will become a praise in His Glory. Blessings and praise my brother!
