Today’s Scripture: Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. Matthew 7:20 ESV
What will you be known and remembered by? Matthew was issuing a warning to us here about recognizing false prophets. However, we do not want to be false prophets either.
The Holy Spirit of God guides us even if we do not recognize where we are going or where we are. I just recognized that God has me here today in Matthew 7 for a reason and I was completely unaware.
I am starting a new small group study tonight and several weeks ago a sermon convicted me on the topic. The LORD brought me here yesterday and I did not even recognize it.
It is unbelievable how God works. Later in Matthew 7 Jesus said there will be those who He never knew. Is there anything more important in our lives than living for Jesus now? Live the will of God now so we bear His fruits.
Will Jesus recognize you by your fruits? Will He know you?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, LORD I am asking You to help me bear Your fruits. Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who guides us. I want to honor You by bearing fruit with the gifts You have given me. I want You to know me Lord Jesus by the fruits You bear in me. Help me. Amen

Thanks for your prayers Sis. This was our first meeting and I know God had us together for a reason and His majesty and Spirit prepared the way (bathed by your prayers). You make an excellent statement that our confidence is in Him and not in us. He is the vine and the source of the fruit that He produces through us…BIG thanks and blessings!

Wow, Sis, You know how to throw a GREAT birthday party!! It was a blast and I do hope you make it a regular event. We can all join in and bring our favorite snacks and party favors.
