Today’s Scripture: Romans 8:26 ESV- Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
This God thing is CRAZY! God amazes and proves to me over and over again that He does indeed speak.
I remember one morning as I knelt to meet God I didn’t know what He expected me to do or think. Somewhere in my mind or my spirit I thought I would just allow the Holy Spirit to connect with God. I was reminded that the Holy Spirit knows more about what is needed than I do.
Silencing my thoughts I felt my soul open to God hoping that the unintelligible communication between God and Spirit was taking place.
Rising to go to God’s Word I just happened to be in Romans 8:26 that day where we were promised this experience. In my fallen flesh I do not even know how to pray or what I should present to God but, the Holy Spirit does and I trust the communion God and He had together on my behalf that day and every day.
Do you trust the Holy Spirit to pray for you? Does God amaze you in how He reveals Himself to you?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty God, thank You for praying with the Holy Spirit for me. I trust You are coordinating Your will. I trust You to shape me and mold me into Your willing servant. I am comforted and strengthened to know the Holy Spirit knows Your will and myself better than I. I praise You LORD and pray I will complete Your will for me today. Amen
