Today’s Scripture: As it is written in Isaiah the prophet, “Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way, Mark 1:2 ESV
Ahhhhhh! As I spoke the words Abba, Father this morning I could physically feel the ahhhh of relief and peace of laying all I have before Him. All of my cares and hopes laid right there at the feet of the Almighty God.
Then I showed up in the first chapter of Mark only to confirm why I have this peace. Jesus has already come; He has ALREADY prepared my way. This way is NOT up to me. I am letting go and going His way.
What a relief it is to know the King of Kings, the LORD of lords, has made my way. The LORD’S way is my way. Jesus came to prepare the WAY OF THE LORD as stated in Mark 1:3. When I let go of my way and my efforts and trust in His way and His strength I find peace.
Do you trust His way?
Today’s Prayer: Abba Father, I love You and praise Your name. I thank You for sending Jesus to prepare my way. Thank You LORD for providing Your way. Your Way LORD is all I need and all I desire. Thank You for sending Your angels and Your Holy Spirit to guide me today. Amen

Tom, may I suggest you add a word to today’s affirmation, “His”, as in, “O find His peace.” Love ya bro. Thanks for the timely word.

Thanks Russell!! Interestingly I captured this affirmation both ways. I did prayerfully consider “has already prepared “His” way”. Hopefully I addressed that in the body of the message that we find our way in HIS way. The Spirit led me to open the door to those who are seeking their way(many more than are seeking His way) that they may be know Jesus has already prepared it. Trusting that they will realize the only way to find MY way is to find HIS. It did strike me that in Mark 1:2 he said “your” way and in verse three we are told Jesus came to prepare the way of the LORD. I hope that makes sense or you can let me know if I missed the point, which I often do:) I truly appreciate your reading and offering suggestions!! I DO want to be held accountable for sure! Blessings in His way!

I am learning to trust Him with everything and the peace that I receive as a result of that trust is so comforting. My desire is that His way becomes my way in all that I do, let His way be second nature to me, Lord! Amen!
