Share the post "Affirmation of God: I rejoice in thanksgiving for the portion God has given me."
Today’s Scripture: Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy. Isaiah 61:7 ESV
God has given us a double portion. We have thanksgivings now and we have eternal thanksgivings. As Isaiah stated repeatedly “the Spirit of the LORD is upon me”. When we know the Spirit of the LORD is upon us there is always reason to rejoice.
Just as Isaiah we have been called to bring this good news to the poor and the broken hearted that they can be freed from what binds them and blinds them of joy.
Isaiah 61:10 reminds us to greatly rejoice in the LORD for we have been clothed in the garments of salvation and covered with the robe of righteousness. God has already covered us and given us salvation and righteousness and this is our lot. The world robs; the LORD gives. Our lot is in the LORD and not in what is seen.
Are you rejoicing in your lot? Welcome the Spirit of the Lord and you will have everlasting joy.
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for your Spirit that is upon me. LORD, I rejoice in the lot You have given me. LORD help me to bring Your good news to the poor and the broken hearted. Help me to share the everlasting joy found in Your salvation and righteousness. I am rejoicing in thanksgiving. Amen

Haha, sis I LOVE it when our joy in the LORD is multiplying like bunnies!!! I know I have seen scriptures where we are promised the LORD’s multiplication…just not sure He put in the bunnies part…I LOVE IT! HUGE Blessings and thanksgivings my sis! Thanks for the joyful chuckle:)
I added the bunnies part (New Caddo Revised Version!). As much as I love sharing His truth and encouragement, I think my fave thing is making folks laugh. My mission is to show the world how much FUN Christians who are truly walking with Jesus can have, that He loves hearing a joyful chuckle as much as a “Hallelujah”. God bless you BIG.
God bless you Sis and I am so thankful you use your gifts to make us have joyful laughter. I love the new Caddo Revised version that shares God’s love and His truth with a joyful noise. I am thankful for silly giggles being one of those noises. Keep on preaching with the words He Himself has given you!! I can see the smiles from Heaven:) BIG.

Haha, those thoughts do flash into my mind too but God knows our hearts and He knows the reach of the love of Jesus. As others hear our laughter and celebration in Him they too will desire the restoration and joy we have found. BIG GOD giggles:) I love you Sis!
