Today’s Scripture: And they prayed and said, “You, Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which one of these two you have chosen. Acts 1:24 ESV
Do we ask for what the LORD has chosen or for what we want? Do we act on what the LORD shows us?
I only want to complete what the Lord has chosen and it may not be about me at all. This verse says that the Lord knows the hearts of all. He knows what is best for all hearts.
Lord, I pray for You to show me what You have chosen so I may do what is the best for the hearts of all. The disciples here in Acts “cast lots” which is debatable. Today we have the Holy Spirit and we can trust He will show us in whatever lots are cast.
Sometimes He shows us in the mundane and sometimes the miraculous. I pray to see what God has chosen today; accept it and do my part for the hearts of all.

Today’s Prayer: LORD, You know my heart and the hearts of all. I pray that You show me today what You have chosen for me to do. Grant me the wisdom, discernment and courage to act on what You reveal to me today. I only seek that which You have chosen and I desire to live in Your desires. Amen

I really like this word a lot, Tom–will have to mull it over some more, as to how I see what He has chosen. I think it’s a nudge in my spirit, usually. God bless you and your family–BIG. love, sis C
