Today’s Scripture: Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights! Psalm 148:1 ESV
The Psalms bring us to praise over and over again. Psalm 148 reminds us that we praise God right along with His Heavenly angels. As they praise Him from Heaven we too praise Him from where we are.
One sense I have experienced through this journey through the Psalms is that I lift my praises to God no matter where He is. I can not fathom the heavenly realm in which He resides nor can I fathom His presence within the essence of all living things. I just know He is there and I praise Him.
I know not where I will be but I have come to know I will praise the LORD. As in the final verse of the Psalms in Psalm 150:6 as long as I have breath I will praise the LORD.
Are you praising the LORD wherever you are and wherever you believe He is?
Today’s Prayer: I praise You LORD! I join Your angels as they praise You from Heaven. LORD I praise You in Your heights and in Your presence in the lowest of places. LORD I praise You wherever You are and wherever I am. Thank You for giving me the breath to praise You and I pray to use my last breath for You. Amen
