Today’s Scripture: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27 ESV
Stop; don’t rush by this promise from Jesus. John 14 offers some very POWERFUL words that change our lives, right now, today! One thing it offers is GUARANTEED peace, do you want it?
We often “say” we have peace but it is evident when we really don’t, isn’t it? Have we really accepted Jesus’ peace? John 14 promises so many things; peace, heaven, the way to live with God, provision of Jesus, the Helper who will see us through…if we seek them. Do NOT look for peace in this world as you will NOT find it.
We can not only have peace but Jesus’ peace, He already gave it to us. He also left for us the Helper, the Holy Spirit, which will remind us of all of Jesus’ words if we ask Him. In fact these same scriptures promise that if we ask anything in Jesus’ name HE will do it.
Have you asked Jesus for HIS peace?
Today’s Prayer: Father, I ask In Jesus’ name for His peace. I ask LORD in Jesus’ name to follow the way, the truth and the life of Jesus so that I am one in You and You are in me. LORD, I accept and trust in Jesus’ peace. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who reminds us of all of Jesus’ words. Please use me to help spread Your peace. Amen
