Today’s Scripture: The evidence of the Spirit’s presence is given to each person for the common good of everyone. 1 Corinthians 12:7 GWT
The Spirit of God has been given to each of us. Some reject it, some are blinded from it, some have it robbed from them and some of us keep it to ourselves. Why has God given you His Spirit?
Here in 1 Corinthians 12:7 we are told that we have been given the Spirit’s presence to be given for the common good of everyone. The Holy Spirit will manifest Himself differently in each of us. Each of us have the Spirit to give.
Since you already have the Spirit what will you do with Him? How has the Spirit’s presence manifested in you? What do you have that the world needs, that nobody else has? Are you willing to give it up for the common good?
However the Spirit is manifested in you, it is intended for the good of all. How will your Spirit benefit the common good today?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, Jesus is Lord and I pray that I give to all the Holy Spirit You have given to me. LORD, help me to accept the Spirit, help me to see Your Spirit clearly and help me to give Him up for the common good of everyone. Thank You for Your Spirit of love; please help me to give it to everyone. Amen

Christian Affirmations 4 Life
Maybe I’m confusing your article but It is my understanding that we only receive the Holy Spirit when we have asked Christ to be our Savior so that means not everyone has Him. I don’t think we can “pass that on.” Each person must seek Christ and then receives God’s Holy Spirit.
Thank you Sue, I do appreciate your observance of this scripture. I do not want to mislead or add to God’s Word and I pray to only write what the Holy Spirit shares with me this day. I believe God wove each of us in the womb and not devoid of spirit or purpose. I am not a theologian and if I only have 150 words to share with the world today His Spirit leads me to choose His love and hope. That is what I pray invites others to come to know the Spirit God Himself created in us and come to know that Jesus is Lord. I know that God and His Spirit are beyond my understanding but I know He loves us and calls us to love unconditionally; Him and our neighbor. I appreciate that you prompted me to re-read 1 Corinthians 12 this morning. I wrote from there and what He spoke to me then. May the Spirit teach us all and God’s truth be revealed to us all. Still learning and seeking His daily bread:) I am thankful for my lack of answers that guides to continue to seek His Word.
Love how you remind us that He will manifest Himself differently to each one of us! I’ve fought Him about using my gifts, and at times, wished I could trade gifts. 🙁 But nothing brings more Peace than to know you’re working with the gifts He’s given, doing what He’s called you to do!
Amen Julie! God given gifts for us to be the part of the body He intended us to be. The world needs Julie. Yes we find peace in being His and doing His will. Blessings in your gifts.
