Today’s Scripture: Of David. I give you thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart; before the gods I sing your praise; Psalm 138:1 ESV
Like David, I give thanks to God with my whole heart. I have found no better way to begin a day as David does here in Psalm 138:2. “To bow down and give thanks to the LORD for His love and faithfulness.”
The whole of my heart I cannot conceive nor the wholeness of God. But I can give thanks with all that I have and know God knows the sound of my gratefulness.
On the day I called, You answered me says David. On this day, the LORD has answered me and strengthened my soul with thanksgiving.
Do you give the LORD thanks with your whole heart? How has your soul been strengthened?
Today’s Prayer: Father God of Heaven, I thank You with my whole heart for Your love and Your faithfulness. Thank You for hearing me and answering me. I love You Father and will sing Your praises always. Thank You for answering my heart and filling it to make it whole. Amen

And whole heart means 100 percent. All of it. Every day. All the time. I think this is really close to my Surrender word.
Thank you. Again. 🙂

So true Julie, may we take “whole” and “surrender” beyond what we can grasp in the flesh. Beyond us we find Him. LORD, please teach us and take us to places we do not know. Blessings and surrender.
