Today’s Scripture: Some people brought to him a paralyzed man on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “Be encouraged, my child! Your sins are forgiven.” Matthew 9:2 NLT
Will we bring others to Jesus? The people that saw what Jesus did with this paralytic glorified God. We can do that too.
God is saying to me “help my people”. Me, help your people? LORD teach me what you mean. I want to learn Your mercy. In Matthew 9:13 Jesus told the Pharisees to “go and learn” what this means: “I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.”
I want to learn and do God’s mercy. I want to bring others to Him because of what I have witnessed in Him. I have witnessed His love and mercy for me; a sinner. I know Jesus is able because of what I have seen Him do.
I am praying that God sends you and me into His harvest. We can weave together a mat with our sins and forgiveness that is strong enough to carry. Do you want to help?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, I thank Jesus for coming for me, a sinner. LORD, teach me to help Your people. Fill me with Your mercy and compassion. Open my eyes and hands to the harassed and helpless. I do pray earnestly for laborers to be sent out into Your Harvest. Amen

Jesus said he came to seek and save the lost. I reckon I ask myself if I should be doing anything less?
