Today’s Scripture: Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. Luke 11:23 ESV
Are you gathering up what you need? I did not want to come back to Luke 11 this morning. However, I knew the LORD sent me here so I read knowing the Spirit would help me dig deep.
In prayer God reminded me of those who went into the Promised Land or even more so those that did not. Those that did trusted God. Those that did not trust God wandered and died in the wilderness.
For you and me to get to where God intends for us to be we must be gathering His promises. If not we will scatter into our own wildernesses. We can not only clean house as we are told in Luke 11:24-26 but be filled with Him.
What is inside of us is what will shine and be a light to others. When we have gathered God’s promises and keep our eyes there, then will be prepared for our purpose.
What will you look to gather today?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your promises and for Jesus’ example. LORD help me to gather Your promises. Please write them into my heart, mind and soul. Equip me LORD for Your purpose. Help me to know Your Word and keep it! Amen

Oh wow, you filled our plates full today, brother–thank you!!!! I’m definitely feeling renewed and restored–thus I’m in “gathering mode”, wanting to soak up and learn more truth; and get “realigned” where necessary. There’s always more to learn and some days that sounds exciting–other days, when we’re weary, it sounds like a burden. Today I’m excited. As that ol’ gal used to say, “God bless you BIG!”

Amen Mirada my sister! So thankful that when we don’t have it in us, the Holy Spirit groans to the Father on our behalf! Glad it is not up to our strength! BIG blessings:)
