Today’s Scripture: I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God. Leviticus 25:38 ESV
Do you ever wonder how you got here to where you are? No matter how you arrived here, right here, right now is it possible God brought you here so He would be your God?
Here in Leviticus, our heads can spin with all of the rules and regulations being presented to God’s people however some truths do ring out.
We need jubilee. We need to give life rest. We need to trust that God is the only “forever”. His blessings will provide what we need. We can proclaim liberty in God.
He did not bring us here to be so busy with our here to forget Him He brought us here so He would be our God. Yes, my head is still spinning but I can rest in jubilee that my God brought me here and I know He is my God.
Is God your God where you are?
Today’s Prayer: LORD God thank you for jubilee. LORD forgive me for trusting in my land more than trusting in You. LORD I believe I am here where I am so You will be my God. LORD I trust You to command the blessings upon me I need, I rest here with You. Amen

“He did not bring us here to be so busy with our here to forget Him He brought us here so He would be our God” — I’m just so busy being busy!
Thanks Tom for a chance to look for a new year’s full of God in my inbox. Now I have to know that I am NOT too busy to open and read them. Thank you, God, for not being too busy for me.
God bless you in 2014, Tom!
Amen Katy, great to hear from you and I can soooo to relate with being too busy! I pray we can balance and prioritize the busyness we face. We are all busy and I pray we keep the LORD first and let the others fall where they may:) I look forward to a new year of opportunities for us to allow Him to be our God! Blessings as you live with Him.
Once again, a few small but powerful Words I’d never noticed. Thanks!!
Thank you Julie. His Word is so eye opening. He continues to reveal His majesty in His promises to us. Blessings and presence!
