Today’s Scripture: And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.” Mark 14:36 ESV
Kneeling before the Father this morning the words that came from my soul were these; I have come to know Your will.
As I pondered the lack of understanding we have in this fleshly realm as we face the death of a loved one I wondered how much more so we do not understand the spiritual realm. I am so thankful for the prayers I and my family have received over the recent days and weeks and for knowing we receive what we ask.
As I scoured thousands of affirmations this morning for confirmation of this message I was comforted to know Jimbo will soon see Jesus coming on a cloud and that he will be before the throne of God. I can ponder the process yet concede I do not understand.
There in my lack of understanding is where I realize my need to only want to know God’s will.
What do you want more than anything?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, I come before You with thanksgivings in my heart for the love You give to us and for the love of my brothers and sisters. LORD, I only want to know and do Your will. I am thankful for the life and love of Jimbo and I pray Your will is being revealed in this process. Amen

Today I dare not tell what I want more than anything–it’s too raw, burdensome. Hope we are trading prayers back and forth today, Tom–God bless you and your family BIG–love, sis Caddo

You are the BEST, Tom–I feel better already (and I know my stuff can’t be nearly as bad as your family situation, so I don’t mean to whine). Praise God for our loving brethren.

Sis, when I dropped to my knees for you a weird thing happened….your burdens were really heavy (I don’t think it was the blood rushing to my head:), however God reminded me that Jesus would take these burdens upon him and I was able to breathe more fully…really this happened. I join you in asking Jesus to take your burdens and to make your load light. All glory and praise to Him who we may lay our burdens. I am here for you my sis! Praise God BIG.

Wow, Tom–your words move me to tears, as my first thought was, “See? I’m Not imagining what’s goin’ on”–which is just one of the things the devil taunts me with, that and “you’re just a whiner”. I can never thank God enough for bearing me up (“daily”–I should go find that verse now!), and for such a fine brother as yourself. Lots of folks say that they pray–but not everyone “shows you” that they do. Wish I could send you a home-baked treat to express my thanks and love. Never forget that I pray for you nightly also.

Sis, you are all the treat I need:) You express your thanks and love with your heart and BIG presence. What a blessing this blog world is for prayers that remove geography. Interesting that we can pray for people that we do not even know where they are physically yet we know exactly where their heart is. The Spirit of God is beyond our comprehension but is with us every hour. I cherish your prayers and I am thankful for you. LORD, please lift sis’ burdens and show Yourself in them. Thank You for prayer. Amen

If your ears were burning last night, Deb Feller and I were bragging on you! You have such a big and sensitive heart, picking up on little things and willing to reach out to others with love and power prayers. It’s a tremendous blessing–I wonder how often you have literally saved someone’s day…. See you a bit later, God bless you BIG Always.

I am so humbled that you two GREAT ladies even thought of me. You two have been such a blessing to me! I pray that God has and will use us for His glory and to direct someone’s day to Him and His promises for us. You overwhelm me with your kind words and overwhelm me with praise for Him who writes these things on our hearts and provides the words to sow as seeds for His kingdom. I love you sis, BIG!

I guess there must be such a thing as good and holy gossiping, then! To me, it’s important to pass on those complimentary thoughts, not just hide them under a bushel where they don’t do folks any good. See you later, Bro!
Tom Raines says
Amen sis, what is under that bushel can save a person’s day! Blessings as you continue to let your light shine!

One of the church songs this weekend (online, “living room church”–Gateway Church, TX) was “I Need Thee Every Hour”. I was lifting up a bunch of my fave family whom I’ve yet to meet face to face–and you were in that “bunch”.
