Today’s Scripture: Finally,be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Ephesians 6:10 ESV
The recipe for strength is found in Ephesians 6. We find our strength in the Lord by putting on the whole armor of God.
We are told that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, the authorities, the cosmic powers. There are spiritual forces of evil that we face. To fight these spiritual forces, we need the strength of the Spirit of God.
There you go, we are NOT struggling with the flesh but the evil one himself. To fight this, we can only do it if we stand firm and put on the armor of God. It is His strength and His might that defeats this evil. Stand firm, put on the armor and stand confidently that we are strong in the Lord and His armor.
How do you find your strength in the Lord?
Today’s Prayer: Mighty God, forgive me for thinking I could stand on my own strength. I praise You and thank You for giving me Your armor. I ask You to help me daily to put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, Your shoes of the gospel of peace, to use faith as my shield and to wear proudly this helmet of salvation and having the protection of the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. Yes, I am strong in You Lord. Amen
