Today’s Scripture: Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. John 13:1
Jesus knew it was His Last Supper and He knows ours. Although you and I cannot see the end we can know Jesus will love us to it.
We, like Jesus, came from God and are going back to Him. He knew He was in His final hours and what did He desire to do? Wash the feet, serve, His disciples. If we knew this was our last supper would we serve those around us?
Do we understand what Jesus has done for us?
Jesus has given us His promises and His love as well as His example and we should accept and give His love to the end.
He promised we would be blessed if we live in and give His love. I believe Jesus knew then and now and He will love me to the end.
Will we give the love and the words that God has given us today as if it was our last?
Today’s Prayer: Jesus, thank You for loving me and giving me Your example. I am living in Your love. Help me to live today as if it was my last. Help me to see who I may serve and love today. I am giving the words You have given to me and pray to be one with You. Amen

“He loved them to the end”. And loves us to the end. This really got to me and how He washed the disciples feet knowing He was about to be crucified. Really powerful post, Tom. Thank you for sharing His word and love with us !
Thank you Deb, it really got to me too! He still loves us that much and washes over our hearts so we may know His love. Blessings and love!
Powerful imagery here, Tom knowing Jesus loved us to the very end right to His very last breath! May I be the servant He desires me to be!
Amen Deb, may we allow Him to wash over us today and follow His example. Blessings and washing.
