Today’s Scripture: I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers, Philemon 1:4 ESV
“I always thank God” is an affirmation of hope. “I always thank God when I remember others in my prayers.” Is an affirmation of fact.
I can thank my God ALWAYS when I remember others. In Philemon 1 and Colossians 1 this morning I found the connection to thanking God always; remembering others in my prayers.
Do you want to feel thankful today? Do you want to return your thanksgivings to your God? Remember others in your prayers. From prison Paul found thanksgiving in his prayers for others. He was thankful for the work that was being done for the LORD.
Perhaps at times it is easier to trust God and to always be thankful when remembering others. We find and share the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ when we pray for others.
Who do you remember in your prayers today? Pray for them with thanksgiving.
Today’s Prayer: My Heavenly Father, I thank You always as I pray for the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ to be with the spirits of others. I find thanksgiving always when looking to Your glory for others. Help me LORD to turn my heart and my spirit to Your work in others. In You LORD I am always thankful. Amen

Oh this is a goodie! Each night I pray for the friends–sisters and brothers–I’ve met through the blogs; I pray for everyone’s protection and blessing, and thank God for all. It’s amazing how often you come to mind, Tom–we must have an extra connection, NICE! And those moments give me an added opportunity to lift you up to our Father. God bless you Abundantly–Happy Thanksgiving! (Are you snowed under? I forgot to ask about that…)

Sis, words are insufficient to profess my gratitude to you and your prayers. I am thankful the LORD brings me to your mind and I am forever grateful for your prayers. There is certainly an EXTRA connection. Thank you for giving what you have. Offering your prayers of praise and thanksgiving for others is a HUGE responsibility and blessing. I am praying abundant blessings upon you now that your prayers be multiplied and that you are strengthened in giving what you have. Blessings and prayers.
