Today’s Scripture: And my tongue will talk of your righteous help all the day long, for they have been put to shame and disappointed who sought to do me hurt. Psalm 71:24 ESV
Do you believe God is in all things? David’s commitment to talk about God all day long thousands of years ago still speaks loudly to me. The shouts of his soul bring shouts of joy from my soul too.
Like David, I am beginning to realize the almighty presence of God in all things. I can praise Him from the mountaintops and I can trust He will revive me from the depths. I have come to trust God in all things. My good and my bad I know God is there. I know He is there to help me even when I turn away.
My God who created me in love loves me. The LORD, ALONE, is my righteousness. The good, the bad and the ugly my God is there. The more I include Him in my conversations all day long the more I live with Him.
Will you talk of God’s help all day today?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty God, I praise You and thank You for being in all things. In You, O LORD, I put my trust, my hope, my strength and my praise continually. Thank You for being close. I tell everyone of Your salvation and Your righteousness all day long. You alone are my strength and my source of joy. Amen

I love this good, and there is another side benefit. When i read your affirmation, i realized that is what lead me out of religion and into relationship. I met a Christian who talk about God as though He was a part of everything in her life, and it changed mine forever. Now He is a part of my whole life, and if i will acknowledge that regularly, perhaps it will change another’s life too.

Thank Ben and like you in the Red Letters as we dig into what the Word speaks and take it as specific conversations with us we become intimate with our God. Religion seems to be looking from afar while the relationship is up close and personal. I too have been changed forever and I pray that God uses us to share what He has given us. Praying to share this hope and joy as we praise Him more and more and talk of Him more and more. Blessings as you share His letters.

The more I come to understand the omnipresence of God (which is not at all the more I know it) the more amazed I become and the more peace I have that if He walks with me in it I can live greatly anywhere through anything.
Amen Joseph, I am with you! The more I know about God the more I know I don’t know. What power and peace I find in not having to understand but to just know it is HIM and HIS power that is in and through ALL things. To Him be the glory and the praise as HE ALONE is my help. “Religion” is just so empty, compared with a Jesus-n-me relationship. “The good, the bad and the ugly, my God is there” reminds me of a great worship song–you may know it; though I can’t remember the exact title or all the words, I’ll give it a try–“You Stand Forever–in my highs and my lows, You stand and never let go”….somethin’ like that. Thanks Sis, O no He never lets go…was just reading in 2 Corinthians that focus on the law is condemnation while Christ gives freedom. The Spirit of God, the Helper Jesus promised is with us so this relationship gives life! BIG blessings as you turn to Him all day long!
