Today’s Scripture: that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, Acts 17:27 ESV
How do you seek God?
Perhaps we may feel our way toward and find Him as Acts 17 suggests. Compelled to seek God this morning I even turned to Google and found this great link: http://www.openbible.info/topics/seeking_god that I would like to share with you.
If we seek God diligently we will find Him according to these scriptures. When we seek God continually with all of our hearts, minds and souls we find Him and feel Him. If we seek Him first, He is first.
Over and over we are told in scripture that if we seek we will find. This seeking requires our whole hearts. May we feel with our hearts and seek with all of them. We will find He is not far from each of us and we will find His great, unsearchable and marvelous ways.
Have you ever experienced in your seeking that you find the unsearchable? How does it feel?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your promises to us. Thank You for revealing Yourself in our seeking. Teach me LORD with Your Spirit to seek You with my whole heart. Please open my heart so I may know its wholeness in You. Search my heart so my heart may continually search You. Amen
