Today’s Scripture: Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 ESV
Do you dream? Do you seek meaning in your dreams and in your life? Today the dream that accompanied my snooze button was one of being covered by layers. Here in Ephesians 6 I read about the covering we have been given by God; was this a coincidence or a dream?
It takes ALL God has given us to withstand evil we are told. I realized, like in my dream, God has already given us cover.
He has given us His armor for this day. We have His truth, His righteousness, His peace, His faith, His salvation and His Spirit. It takes ALL of this, the WHOLE thing and I imagine so much more. He gave us our imagination and dreams too. It takes it all to find meaning and purpose.
Will we leave God’s coverings in our dreams or will we live in them with meaning.
Are you using all that you have been given by God?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, I praise You and thank You for all that You have given us. Thank You for Your Spirit who teaches us. Help me to remember that I need Your whole armor at all times. Thank You for dreams and imaginations that I pray are used by You to give meaning. Amen
