Today’s Scripture: All around him was a glowing halo, like a rainbow shining through the clouds. This was the way the glory of the LORD appeared to me. When I saw it, I fell face down in the dust, and I heard someone’s voice speaking to me. Ezekiel 1:28 NLT Tyndale
I can not apologize for sending this recurring theme the LORD is feeding me. Ezekiel fell face down before the LORD; THEN he heard the LORD’S voice and THEN the Spirit entered him and moved him. As we totally submit it is there that the LORD speaks to us and His Spirit enters us. We go where the Spirit goes.
The LORD gives us our message and the Spirit moves us. The Spirit is in the going and the LORD gives us the words. We can heed God’s instructions to Ezekiel; “you must give them my message whether they listen or not.”
We share what the LORD gives us NOT for acceptance of man but out of obedience to Him. Are we more concerned about falling on our face before man or God? The LORD desires our faithfulness and we get our instructions as we fall before Him.
Today’s Prayer: LORD, I fall on my face before You. I am open to You and receive what You give. Have Your Spirit move me. I ask for Your words to sink deep into my heart. Show me the responsibilities You will hold me accountable for. Remove all my fear of man and all concern as to whether they listen to me or not. Keep Your hand upon me LORD to share the messages You give me. Amen

To fall face down before the Lord is the most powerful and life-changing of all experiences.
Thank you Tom for reminding us that we need to submit totally to His grace and love.

Thank you Judy and yes that has been my experience too! My life has forever changed because I fell face down before Him! Falling before Him has taken on a life of its own, His life. I so appreciate your presence and your comment. So weird but I have wondered to myself if you were still “out there”. You bless me. May we fall down in submission and live to His fullest, blessings and falling down!

Thank you very much! I appreciate your reading and your confirmation. I enjoy your videos too! I will have to catch up on some of the longer ones when things slow down a bit. Blessings and thanksgivings!
Prayer and Truth says
Thank you kindly Tom, yes there are some long ones, I should try to keep them shorter, blessings and peace to you too Tom 🙂
Tom Raines says
Prayer and truth, Keep sharing your gifts and your Spirit. He will guide you to the perfect length and message. A change came in length here when my very own mom told me she wouldn’t read my longer blogs, ha! If mama won’t read it no one will:) Seriously, I encourage you to follow after God’s own heart and trust Him. To not change what He gives you. As I learned long ago here, write or produce for an audience of ONE. The ONE who calls you to this passion and purpose for Him. Be the best you. The Best you is the being the one He created you to be and not one shaped by the opinions of man. I pray for your discernment of His messengers. We can trust His design and His love for us. Blessings and living in the Spirit.
Prayer and Truth says
Thank you so much Tom, I’ve never had as much love, faith and hope in my heart as I have had in me this past year and I put all my faith now in following God’s own heart. Its been a very turbulent year but the one thing that I know I can always rely on is my absolute love for Jesus and God. Its a pure, honest love and it grows every day. I’m uncertain about so many things but not my love for God and that’s what keeps me going 🙂 Bless You
Tom Raines says
I am with you Prayer and Truth, it is what keeps me going. It is what I desire over all others. He truly blesses us when we put all of our faith in Him. I can take and create turbulence yet we know and can trust that His will will be done and He is perfecting the great work He wants done through us. I pray with you that we continue to grow in wisdom and love in Him. Blessings and growth!

Thank you for sharing this message. It was timely for me even though you wrote it in 2013. One of the most powerful times I’ve spent in prayer was face down before the Lord. I can tell you, He met me there! Thank for the reminder.
Blessings to you.

Oh Bonnie, you warm my heart and just prove God’s perfect timing. I am so thankful that He gives us what we need when we need it. His kingdom is one in which we simply must cast the seeds we have been given and trust Him to sprout them in ways we can not understand. Blessings as you treasure what you find face down before the LORD!
