Today’s Scripture: And he said to him, “I am the LORD who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.” Genesis 15:7 ESV
We can not all be Abraham but we can all find hope in Abraham’s story can’t we? God promised to bless Abraham in Genesis 15:5 with offspring more plentiful than the stars he was encouraged to count. As far fetched as this promise appeared to be, we are told Abraham “believed the LORD” in verse six.
Do you believe? In today’s affirmation and scripture do you need God’s reminder that He gave Abraham in Genesis 15:7 ? “I am the LORD who brought you…” Abraham was pushing eighty years old at this point so I would think, like us, he could point to other circumstances and choices that had brought him to this place. But the LORD made it clear that it was He who brought Him here.
He has brought you and me here to this place too. We too can do as Abraham and fall on our faces before the LORD and ask how He will make His covenant known to us; and believe He will.
Today’s Prayer: O LORD God, how am I to know Your covenant with me? I fall on my face before You and profess my belief. I trust You have brought me here LORD. I pray that my life from here blesses You and Your people. LORD, make Your covenant known to me and make me live it out. Amen

I believe this truth with all my heart Tom. I was privy to being somewhere for someone recently that blew me away but solidifies what you are saying. http://billgrandi.ovcf.org/wordpress/?p=10261
