Today’s Scripture: And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:2 ESV
What a blessing it is to be able to give ourselves up and find God. When we face things that are beyond us isn’t it wonderful to give ourselves up to God and His will?
Ephesians 5 calls us unto thanksgiving. In offering ourselves up to God and sacrificing ourselves to Him we find thanksgiving. Thanksgiving that the LORD will show us His will and He will guide us to walk in His love.
Ephesians 5:16 instructs us to make the best use of our time. It was proven to me this morning that giving myself up for God; offering and sacrificing myself to God IS the best use of my time.
In this time, the Spirit sends up our fragrant offerings and we find God’s reassuring love, wisdom and light. God’s light produces what is good, right and true.
Are you willing and thankful to give yourself up to God?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for accepting my offering and sacrificing of myself to You. I pray these fragrances are pleasing to You. Thank You for Your Spirit and Your light that Jesus promised us. Thank You for Your wisdom and discernment to do what is pleasing to You. I give myself to You. Amen

Last night I gave up my fretting over the tornado which impacted IL, and declared God’s Sovereignty over the distressing devastation. It was the only way I could get to sleep. Please pray for Deb Feller, Tom–her house is okay but they’re without power, and supplies are dwindling. Some miles away, her mom was miraculously spared–though the entire street she lived on is gone! This is so hard when it touches loved ones, I feel terribly helpless. God bless you and your family BIG–love, sis Caddo
Sis, thank you for letting me know about Deb and her mother. You know in the cyber world I don’t even realize where people live physically. I am lifting Deb, her mother and those in the area now! I was praying for these unknown and unawaringly (new word) known yesterday as I do work with folks in the area. I actually will be working up in that area the first week in December and had no idea Deb and her family were there. I am thankful they are OK and pray to God to provide what they need. Although we are helpless our God is not…in that I am thankful! BIG blessings and prayers!
