Today’s Scripture: Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, declares the LORD. Be strong, O Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land, declares the LORD. Work, for I am with you, declares the LORD of hosts, Haggai 2:4 ESV
Where do you find your strength? A popular slogan for silicone bracelets, T-shirts and millions of other things over recent years simply stated “Be strong”. Yet here thousands of years earlier Haggai, the prophet offered this same advice.
However, today’s world encourages you to be strong in yourself. The LORD’S words came from the hand of Haggai as we are told in Haggai 2:1. Haggai knew the words came from the LORD and He made sure that those he spoke to knew the source of this strength.
“I am with you”, declares the LORD. He is. Be strong in Him. Evidence lies all around us of the results of people relying on their own strength yet the evidence of the strength of the LORD offers everlasting strength.
Be strong.
The word of the LORD speaks; The Spirit of the LORD is with us. Be strong and do not fear.
Today’s Prayer: Almighty LORD, thank You for Your Spirit that is with us. Thank You for Your words that encourage us to be strong. I know and I profess Your words and encourage others to be strong in You and Your Spirit. Fill Your house with glory. Amen

Oh I love this word today, and that you make the point that it’s not our own strength which will save, or even help us much! I have taunting moments to give up, some times–so the Be strong message is very meaningful to me. God bless you BIG, brother Tom–love, sis Caddo
Thanks Sis, our nature is to attempt to be strong in our own strength…yet at the end of that rope…we find His strength. I am soooo thankful He is always there and just I would start the climb with Him more and more…BIG blessings and strength.
