Today’s Scripture: Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17
We are designed for prayer. We are designed to find security, counseling and teaching by the Spirit. We are fully aware that the securities of relationships, wealth, understanding and life are very fragile; yet we are easily fooled.
Have you felt the relief when you lay your anxieties at the alter of the Almighty in prayer? Just quieting yourself and asking God to fill your spirit with His will is true freedom and security.
Jesus died so we could live with Him. To live with Him we must pray with Him; without ceasing. We are not designed to move on to another level and think we can live any differently.
We rejoice and give thanks to God in our prayers. We become intimate with the Spirit of God and His Word through prayer. He fills us with what is good when we keep on praying.
How do you pray without ceasing?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for granting prayer to us. How bountiful is Your love for us that we may commune with you without ceasing. Draw us into Your prayers LORD so we may live with Jesus and pray with Jesus without ceasing. Fill us LORD with Your Spirit and continue to show us what is good. Amen
