Today’s Scripture: 2 Corinthians 3:17 ESV- Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
There is true freedom when we turn to the LORD. For those of us who have experienced this freedom it is frustrating to see those living in bondage refuse to turn to the Spirit of the LORD.
All around this world people fight against God, His Spirit and each other in search of freedom. The great lie is that you somehow lose your freedoms if you turn to God. Paul was referring to how the Law of Moses kept a veil over our eyes. We simply cannot understand or comprehend the Spirit of the Lord but we can turn to it.
When we turn to our understanding and opinions we can’t see through our veils. But when we turn to the Spirit of the LORD we experience true freedom. How do I know? I live there.
Will you turn to the Spirit of the LORD and live in freedom?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your Spirit and Your Freedom. Thank You for Jesus whose death tore the veil in two. I can see You LORD through Your Spirit and I can live with You in Your Spirit. Thank You for the freedom you provide in Your Spirit. Help me to live there LORD and give all others hope to be transformed degree after degree. Amen
