Today’s Scripture: To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory. Isaiah 61:3 NLT
In Isaiah 61:1, Isaiah KNEW that “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD was on him, and that the LORD had anointed him to preach good news to the poor.” I challenge myself and you today for you to fill in this blank.
I have good news I can share with ________________.
Can you pray and meditate on this today? I am. I believe God has planted me here on this recovery path and this Affirmations of God journey so I can encourage others that may be poor in this area. I have been planted here now to share this message today for those that are addicts like me or someone who needs a real and personal relationship with God like I did.
You have been planted where you are for your own people. He planted us here and we can grow into great oaks as we preach the good news of what the LORD has done for us, right where we are.
We each have a ministry and opportunity to tell what the LORD has done for us where we are. Others need encouragement. Can you give it?
Today’s Prayer: LORD Almighty, thank You for Your Word and Your Spirit. I thank You for drawing my heart and my mind to You. You make yourself clear and I pray that You will use me to preach the good news to those who need the message You have given me. I know You have planted me here and I will give You glory by sharing Your good news. Use me LORD. Amen
