Today’s Scripture: Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:8 ESV
God is our only peace. God is our only hope. Why do we continue to seek peace and hope elsewhere? Will it be different this time in the false promises of the world or in the relationships of man?
I am thankful for God’s faithfulness and His forgiveness in my faithlessness. Time and time again we find ourselves at a place of needing God; a place where He is our only hope or only source of wisdom. God is ALWAYS there. When we draw near to Him He draws near to us. Why do we let other things draw us away?
LORD, help me to be pure in my faithfulness to You. LORD, help me to only seek Your will. LORD, make Your passions my passions. LORD, teach me to live in Your Spirit.
What do you find when you draw near to God?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your faithfulness. Forgive me for my infidelity of You. Thank You for meeting me each and every time I come to You. I am unworthy and so thankful for Your grace. I live for Your love and live in Your Spirit. Help me to purify my heart and only live for Your will. Amen
