Today’s Scripture: But I will hope continually and will praise you yet more and more. Psalm 71:14 ESV
Do we even realize how much God protects us? Psalm 71 reminds us to put our trust in God. It is God who delivers and saves us. How many times has God rescued us from wickedness when we were totally unaware?
We are to tell of God’s salvation all day. Not just in the salvation we know but in the salvation we don’t know. Where am I going with this? Have you ever thought of the accidents that didn’t happen? Were you aware of God’s protection against wicked and evil men? Will you praise God for what you don’t know?
God is faithful to us and Psalm 71:15 awakens us to acts of righteousness that number past our knowledge. For now, let’s just say my family experienced God’s protection last night and I awake today in wonder and praise of our God who saves us.
I will praise God more and more will you?
Today’s Prayer: LORD God Almighty I praise You and thank You for Your salvation, Your protection and Your deliverance. LORD, I want to praise You with Your faithfulness in the salvation that I have seen and also in the many times You have saved me beyond my awareness. Of You LORD I am aware and I will praise You more and more. Amen
