Today’s Scripture: Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me. Psalm 56:9 ESV
Isn’t it great to know God is for you? You do know don’t you? How can David, how can we be so confident? We know by living constantly in the light and will of God.
Looking back over these past few chapters of Psalms we see that if we give up our spirit to take refuge in God’s Spirit and His steadfast love we know. If we seek Him and speak with Him constantly; if we put His will before ours we experience His provision and His deliverance.
In Psalm 55:17 David says he prays morning, noon and night. All day he is in communication with God in all the battles he faces. If we do the same we come to know the peace in our soul that it is God who delivers us and is for us. He is for us because we are for Him.
Do you know God is for you?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, I offer my thanksgivings to You. Thank You for living in me and listening to me. Help me to be mindful to live in You all day. You are in all battles I face and I know if I am seeking You and Your will You are for me. I trust in You God and praise You and Your word. Amen

Awesome Cindy, thank you for sharing the song and artist. I really need to listen to more music as I rarely do…It feeds worship and I sooo appreciate you sharing it with all of us. I will have to look up the live version too. I join you in praising God, our LORD, for His word. Straight from His word we find the fullness of the life He promised to us. What would we do without the Lord in our lives? I truly do not know how lost mankind make it without Christ as they face life in this sinful world. Thanks for the reminder of our need and His goodness.
Thank you Pastor Rob and Amen. Like many of us I am sure all will come to a time when they realize that Christ is their only hope. Their understanding and those things they did have faith in will be shown to be insufficient. There at that place where life brings them to their knees they come to know the LORD. I too can no longer imagine a life without HIM! Blessings and comfort as you dwell with Him!
