Today’s Scripture: You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11 ESV
How wonderful is it that the LORD will make known to us our path of life. If we choose God He will show us what He has chosen for us.
Do you seek the LORD for your path? Will we wait until we are at a crossroads or will we ask Him to make our way known to us today? Just as David states here in Psalm 16:5, we can choose the LORD as our portion. Our lot, our destiny can be in the hand of God.
What better hand to be held in? What better path to follow. My whole being rejoices knowing my path is assured because I have chosen the LORD and His path. In His path I have found hope, promise and a beautiful inheritance. LORD please show me Your path as I accept and welcome Your lot for me.
What path will you choose today?
Today’s Prayer: Father God I have chosen You and Your path. Thank You for promising me that You will show me where to go and what to do. I trust You LORD. Forgive me when I have chosen to trust others. All of my trust is in You and I ask that You show me clearly and You make Your path for me known. Amen

Hi Tom. Certainly I have chosen the Lord as my portion–but sometimes I get confused, overwhelmed by my circumstances, and think that the circumstances are my shabby lot and portion (sometimes, in total meltdown, I’ve cried, “THIS is your Best for me, Lord??”). So this word from you today was very helpful to me–it’s the LORD Who is my Portion and Lot, not the lesser stuff. HE IS BIG, ABUNDANT, FAITHFUL IN UNFAILING LOVE and SOVEREIGN–the here and now is temporary, I’ll be finished with it before I know it. God bless you BIG–love, sis Caddo
Amen Sis, when all else around us falls it it Him who remains. He IS our portion and He is our lot. May He use us to show His love as we live in Him.All He has for us is enough! If we give Him our best in the best we have been given, He is glorified! I, for one, experience His love from you right where you are. My prayers for you now for His comfort and His peace.
