Today’s Scripture: The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22 NLT
Do you bless the LORD? Do we only desire God’s blessings and pray for Him to bless us? My greatest riches have come from blessing and praising Him.
The gratitude and thanks we give back to the LORD and share with others continue to heap blessings upon us. As we turn back to thank our provider, our sustainer and our LORD we find new blessings and new riches.
The riches of man are deceiving and fleeting while the riches and blessings of the LORD are enriching and eternal. This world and the riches in it take our lives while the LORD gives us life. The LORD adds no sorrow and pain to His riches.
Have you returned thanks to the LORD for the blessings you have already received and found that when you bless Him you find more of His riches?
How will you bless the LORD today?
Today’s Prayer: LORD God, thank You for Your blessings. Teach me how I may bless You and others. LORD I bless You with my praises and I pray to bless You with my life. Thank You for Your Son Jesus who died for me. Thank You for Your Spirit that fills me. Thank You for Your Word that feeds me. In You I am rich. Please use me to share Your riches. Amen

This one hits home. Thank you! Had never noticed how the two phrases are connected in one sentence of Scripture–The blessings of the Lord make a person rich, AND he adds no sorrow with it.
