Today’s Scripture: I said, “Let me remember my song in the night; let me meditate in my heart.” Then my spirit made a diligent search: Psalm 77:6 ESV
David was in trouble and he was looking for God. Have you ever been there?
Let us trust His Spirit who He promised as our helper. If you are struggling as you seek God and you are weary, just know your spirit will search diligently and will find God’s way.
God’s way is wonderful and David’s spirit reminds him in 77:13 that “Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God?” (ESV)
Just like God parted the sea for His people, He will make clear our way to go where He desires we go. Trust Him and your spirit to find the way.
Do you believe God’s Spirit is diligently searching and will show you your way?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty God, Your ways are wonderful and I trust Your Spirit to show them to me. Forgive me and remove far from me my doubts and fears when I am weary and struggling to find You. I rest and trust in Your Spirit to seek and pray for me when I have no vision and no words. I put my trust in You O LORD. Show me thine way. Amen

Thank you so much for this today. Sometimes my weariness and struggles come from me getting in the way and I have to remember to put “me” aside inorder for His spirit to show me the way. Please know that I sent it to a friend who b/c of a personal relationship is in DESPERATE need of remembering that God will show her the way.

This was a much-needed and timely affirmation for me this morning Tom, balm for the soul, and I am deeply grateful to you for your consistency and diligence in posting God’s Word and your reflections and prayers to go with it! A lot of days, I’ll pull up the chapter or surrounding verses from where you found the affirmation, and today was one of them, but Holy Spirit had me read the Message translation. WOW!
