Today’s Scripture: In the same way, you wives must accept the authority of your husbands, even those who refuse to accept the Good News. Your godly lives will speak to them better than any words. They will be won over by watching your pure, godly behavior. 1 Peter 3:1-2 NLT Tyndale
Our lives will speak better than any words. Do you ever wonder about what your life is saying? Do our lives speak joy in God or anxiety in life?
As I encourage others to follow after God’s heart and be who He created them to be, do I live it? 1 Peter is an awesome letter giving us direction on how we should live. This book is about doing things right, living right and desiring to serve God.
Do I just talk about using our gifts or do I courageously trust God with these gifts He has given me? Will I just speak as if God is speaking through me or will I live as if God is living through me?
What is your life speaking?
Today’s Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your word and the example of Jesus. Help me to live for You. Your timing is amazing and I know You are speaking. Thank You for the gifts You have given me. Help me to use them with all the strength and energy that You supply. Help me to live the Good News and belong to Christ. Help me to live in You so others will live in You. Amen

For sure Sue and they leave longer impressions, don’t they?! Thank you and blessings as you live.
Beautifully put, Tom. Thank you! I think I can be a mixed bag sometimes, my,life speaking joy but also having those anxious moments! This post was a double blessing for me, because my hubby isn’t following Jesus. God bless you!
Thank you Deb! May we dwell more and more and live more and more through Him. I can relate to being in difference season’s with our spouses. Thankful for these words for us to live for and with God and trust Him to show Himself. May we focus on Him and living as He has called us and trust Him for the rest:) Blessings my sister as you live in Him.
Amen and thank you, Tom!
This is so true, Tom–it’s kind of like the instruction to writers: “Don’t tell, SHOW”. I’m praying my “show” is constantly improving.
I am with you sis, I pray to show HIM more and more! Blessings as your life shows.
