Today’s Scripture: And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Matthew 8:3 ESV
Ok, so maybe this is more of a proclamation than an affirmation today but I have to share. Just yesterday as I knelt before God praying for an ill follower of Jesus I saw a giant hand coming down from heaven. I had never seen such a vision.
Once again, I have found God’s Word to be amazingly perfect.
The leper knelt before Jesus in Matthew 8:2 and he affirmed that if Jesus was willing He could cleanse him. Then here in Matthew 8:3 I see these words; JESUS STRETCHES OUT HIS HAND. Immediately, the vision from yesterday flashed into my mind and I knew I must share this hope with you today. Jesus still stretches out His hand.
Just as the disciples in verse 27 of this same chapter I marvel at Jesus who still calms the storms and reaches out to cleanse us. Do you marvel at Jesus?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Holy Word and for Jesus. LORD, I marvel at Your majesty and Your hand in my life today. LORD, I praise You and love Your Holy Spirit who teaches me and gives me the eyes to see You. I will tell everything Jesus has done. Amen

He is so faithful to reveal Himself to us when we seek Him isn’t He? I am struggling to forgive someone (or should I say, struggling to put the words of my prayer closet, “I forgive” into actions of, “I have forgiven” into my everyday life!) and His Word to me was from Acts 7–Stephen asking the Lord not to hold the sin (of stoning him to death) against them. MAN! Thanks for the great visual of the Good News right in my inbox! Peace in Jesus Christ to you and yours, Cindy

Praying with you Cindy that we both can live what we know in our prayer closets! LORD overwhelm me with YOU! Thanks for sharing the scripture and Stephen’s example for us that gives us hope that the Spirit can do through us more than we imagine! Blessings and prayers!
