Today’s Scripture: Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 NIV
I have come to know a confidence that fills me with hope. In my prayers this morning I felt God’s reassuring confidence.
We are told in Hebrews 12:2 that Jesus is the author and perfecter of our faith. I am finding that He is also the author and perfecter of my hope, my confidence and my assurance.
I encourage you to continue to show up before Him and He will fill you with confidence and so much more. I am thankful for the encouragement and proof God has given to me through His Holy Spirit and through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I am also thankful to the wonderful encouragers He has brought into my life.
What has Jesus authored in you that you can share that will encourage others to show love and do good things?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for the confidence you have given me. Thank You for showing Yourself to me and for giving us Your Word that guides and assures us. LORD, help me to also give away the hope, confidence and assurance of Jesus. Amen

I would like to tell people, “Be of good cheer”–for I know the God who flips things upside down, changes folks inside out. If He did it for me, a ‘whosoever”, He’ll gladly and surely do it for someone else. I’d stake my life on it!! God bless you and your family BIG, Tom–love, sis Caddo
Now that is BIG confidence sis and I am with you. I’d stake my life on it too! When we have had the opportunity to experience God and KNOW it is not us or chance or some kind of mystery. It is God, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit who have turned us inside out and in that is HUGE HOPE no matter what we face. I pray those who would not stake their life on it will just keep going to Him and confessing they aren’t there yet but they do believe in Him and need His hope and assurance. At the perfect time He WILL knock their socks off too! Keep sharing your love, your testimony and your enthusiasm for our LORD!
Thank you, Tom, for reminding me to pray that those whose socks are still on, will keep going to Him and asking for “the revelation” which will leave them barefooted! It’s all about helping people to “not give up hope”, I’m seeing now–and I know personally that that’s a tough one; so you’ve really helped me out, by adding something to my mission/ministry. Father God, I pray for Your blessings upon Sis Caddo’s ministry of hope. Lord spread the word You have written on her heart. Honor her love and enthusiasm for You and bring your blessings and Your Holy Spirit to all she reaches. In Jesus’ Holy name, Amen. Love and confidence sis!

Thanks Deb, you bless my soul with the reminder to “give it all away”. No holding back, no pacing ourselves just give it all and trust God who is perfecting us to take us to places we can not go on our own strength.
