Today’s Scripture: Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Romans 8:26 ESV
This God thing is CRAZY! Just this morning God amazed me and proved to me once again that He speaks to me. I have to break my word count today to share a personal experience.
As I knelt to meet God I didn’t know what He expected me to do or think today. Somewhere in my mind or my spirit I thought I would just allow the Holy Spirit to connect with God. I was reminded that the Holy Spirit knows more about what is needed than I do.
Silencing my thoughts I felt my soul open to God hoping that the unintelligible communication between God and Spirit was taking place.
Then, as strange and crazy as it may seem as I returned to find today’s affirmation a previous affirmation was before me “The Spirit has set me free.” I thought to myself, indeed He did set me free this morning. But that wasn’t the end of the craziness.
As I read the references and the blog I had written two years ago I realized God knew I was going to be here today before I did. Here in this very day’s reading was the verses promising exactly what I had experienced today. In my fallen flesh I do not even know how to pray or what I should present to God. But, the Holy Spirit does and I trust the communion God and He had together on my behalf this day.
Do you trust the Holy Spirit to pray for you? Does God amaze you in how He reveals Himself to you?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty God, thank You for praying with the Holy Spirit for me. I trust You are coordinating Your will. I trust You to shape me and mold me into Your willing servant. I am comforted and strengthened to know the Holy Spirit knows Your will and myself better than I. I praise You LORD and pray I will complete Your will for me today. Amen

Tom I needed that today. Why do we so quickly forget this truth? As I read your post, I just sat for a moment and prayed your prayer for myself and yes, a peace came over me. God bless you.
Thank you Patsy and yes I too am so thankful that the Holy Spirit prays for us. We do not have the capacity to really know all or even ask the right questions. We can praise our God and trust the Spirit He has placed in us in in communion with Him. May this continue our peace and our purposes for His will. Blessings to you.
Thanks, Tom for I have been trusting the Holy Spirit to pray with God the Father on my behalf and my son Thomas. A couple of weeks ago a missionary named Sam Farina preached at our church on this very point. Since then I have been praying over my son differently. My son has seizures due to a cyst in his brain and I am believing for a complete healing here in the natural from those seizures. I am trusting the Holy Spirit to bring my deepest prays to God. No matter the out come I know my son is healed in Heaven already, Thank you, God for hearing every prayer the Holy Spirit brings before you. Thank you, Tom for this confirmation today. God’s timing, A-men!!!

Hear our cries and the groaning of the Holy Spirit calling for Thomas’ healing and Your will to be done through Thomas and Debby. Honor our prayers and help us to honor the prayers of the Spirit of truth. Your truth is where we place our trust. Amen
Didn’t read this till Wednesday morning Tom. There have been times I have been unable to pray for various reasons. It has been those times when I have cried and simply said, “God, I don’t know what to say.” Then I can get quiet. Then it is almost like I want to say, “What He said.” 🙂 Sweet communion.

I am reading this on Friday morning. But there is a reason that the Spirit had me save it until today – I need it desperately today! I am crying “God, I don’t know what to do or say! Please send your Holy Spirit as you promise your disciples to put the words in my mouth”
I praise Him Katy and know He hears your cries and the Holy Spirit is providing the perfect words to the Father in ways we will never understand. Let them meet together as you kneel before them and you will feel the joy that the Great God of Heaven and the Holy Spirit of truth are discussing you Katy and they know the plans they have for you. All glory and honor goes to our God alimighty. My prayers and cries go out with yours. May you feel the peace of knowing God’s will is being done through whatever lies before you. Amen
