Today’s Scripture: Psalm 115:18 NLT: But we can praise the LORD both now and forever! Praise the LORD!
We serve a God in Heaven that promises increase to us. I am not talking earthly increase but just His increase. Do you believe that? Don’t you love it when life meets God’s love at the crossroads in your life?
My first affirmation today was from Psalm 115:9 where I simply said “I trust the LORD!” I wrote that wondering in if I had the guts to show that. God gave me a glimpse of my possible future in serving Him with my life yesterday that I had never considered. Of course, the first thoughts of what that would mean raised doubts and challenges. Do I trust God? I wanted to affirm that I do trust Him!
As I read along in Psalm 115 I realized I could not contain my praise of Him both now and forever. My praise is not dependant on daily decisions but out of His love and His faithfulness to us.
As we are reminded in Psalm 115:11 The LORD is our help and our shield. I trust and praise Him for this.
Can you tell of a time you totally trusted the LORD and His provision?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, I do praise Your name and give You all glory. I am more than amazed that You, who made the heavens and the earth, bless the small and the great with Your increase. Your love and Your faithfulness continue to increase and I ask you to strengthen my trust and increase my praise. All belong to You forever and ever. Amen
