Today’s Scripture: Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12 ESV
If we follow Jesus we HAVE the light of life, right here, right now. We just have to make sure we don’t attempt to follow Jesus as the Pharisees followed Abraham and Moses; with the understanding of the flesh.
We can live in this light or we can choose as the Pharisees did to die in their sins. In 8:24 Jesus told them “for unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins.” Is it possible we have misunderstood what Jesus was telling us?
I pray we believe “I am he”; the Father in Jesus, Jesus in the Father and He in us. We have this light in us and it is a battle between flesh and Spirit.
If the Son sets us free we are free indeed; may we come to know His freedom and His light.
Are you free when you are living in the light of life?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, I praise Your name and I believe that You are in Jesus and Jesus is in You. I also believe Your Holy Spirit is in me. Help me to dwell in Your Word and in Your Spirit so I may know the light of life and the freedom You desire. Amen

When we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship with God. That fellowship is our freedom and keeps us free.
