Today’s Scripture: But He said to them, “Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also, because for this purpose I have come forth.” Mark 1:38 NKJ
Looking back twenty two months to this affirmation that was the seventh blog I had ever written. I am still drawn to Mark 1:35-38 as the life I want to live every day.
Like Jesus, I want to go while it is still dark to pray with my Father. I want to then go and do the purpose for which I have come. It has been in this solitude with God that His purpose becomes clearer to me. In this solitude and darkness God continues to shape me and draw me into His purpose.
I love meeting with my Father each morning and have grown to trust His Spirit and His guidance. I still seek His will and His direction each day as He helps me through His Spirit and His Word to magnify how I may serve His purpose.
When do you pray and what is your purpose?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ and for His example. LORD, I thank You that I too can come and pray as Jesus did. LORD, please grant me the confidence to know the purpose I am to go and do today. LORD, I praise You and ask You to honor our prayers and to guide and direct us. Amen

Most of the time I pray before my son wakes up and more recently the drive into school. My prayer is that His will be done and that I will heed to the Holy Spirit’s guidance. Lord, help me to never stop listening to You and give me strength to take action with your guidance. A-men
