Today’s Scripture: O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. Psalm 130:7 ESV
“With the LORD” is steadfast and faithful love; is that where you want to be? I want to be where the LORD is. In Psalm 124:1 it seemed odd to me that the Israelites realized that the LORD was “on their side”.
Our ego and pride are amazing. There is a huge difference between hoping God is on our side and realizing we are on His side. Do we choose to be right or righteous? I hope to know and to walk in the LORD’S ways. Just as the Israelites here in Psalm 130 my hope is in the LORD.
In Psalm 130:5 we find hope in His word and we can wait, our souls can wait on Him. In Your word LORD I am with You. In my waiting LORD I know I am with You.
What do you find when you are with the LORD?
Today’s Prayer: LORD God Almighty, thank You for allowing us to be with You. How humbling is Your love. How cleansing is Your redemption. LORD help me to stay in Your ways and with You. My hope is in You LORD and I wait, my soul waits on You. Amen

Hi Tom! I love “plentiful redemption”–yay, for that, I need it!! And what a great point, that while we know God is on our side–loving us, protecting us, guiding us and keeping us to the end–it’s important that we line up and be on HIS SIDE. The “wait” message is very significant for me these past few days, again–so thanks for being yet another reminder from Him, I so appreciate it!! God bless you BIG–your sis, Cj
