Affirmation of God: I am overflowing with thanksgiving.

Today’s Scripture:  Sink your roots in him and build on him. Be strengthened by the faith that you were taught, and overflow with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:7 GWT

What is overflowing from you? Paul reminds us that because Jesus is IN us we are overflowing.

We all have hurts, habits and hang-ups held with in us yet the Good News, the Gospel is that Jesus came to reconcile us so we would be without blemish or accusations of these other things within us. Jesus is in us and when we live in Him we are brought to abundance.

In Colossians 1:5 we are told we are full of hope in this gospel. Are you so filled with hope that you are overflowing with thanksgiving?

Colossians 1:9 says we can pray to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will that His Spirit gives. Are you praying to be filled with God’s will and Spirit?

We have been qualified by the Father and our experiences to share the good news of the Gospel so others too may overflow with thanksgiving.

Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Jesus and the hope and redemption He filled us with. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit that fills us with thanksgiving. LORD we pray to be filled with the knowledge of Your will so our thanksgiving and victory in Jesus will overflow to others and share the Good News. Amen
