Today’s Scripture: To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 KJV
Come and see what the LORD has done states Psalm 46:8. I have just experienced God’s presence and trust me He is VERY PRESENT. Through the chaos and raging distractions of life God is there.
In Psalm 46 we are told that although the waters of the river of life may roar and foam that God is in the midst of them. Seriously, in my time alone with God this morning, my mind was full of roaring and foaming. I only sought to be still so God could do His work in me.
I found that seeking to be still in the midst of the raging that God was very present. I fell to my knees when I realized God brought me here to these words and to His presence.
He is in our midst, be still and trust in His presence. He is very present.
Today’s Prayer: LORD, I sing Your praises. Thank You for showing me Your presence in the words of Your scriptures and the rivers of my life. LORD, thank You for being in the stillness and in the raging waters of life. LORD I know You are in the midst of the rivers and me. Help me to be still and to invite others to come and see what You have done. Amen

God is so good!
Ben, so incredibly present. Knocked me right out of my chair and back to my knees. His all-surpassing power is unmistakable isn’t it? If we will only trust in His presence in the stillness He reveals Himself and removes all doubt. Nothing else we can do but invite others to experience His presence. LORD, show us how to share Your wonders and Your goodness with those being washed away by the rushing waters. You are in the midst of them! Amen…Ben, blessings as you share God’s red letters today! Amen Debbie! This to is my prayer and I join you. Interesting He brought me back to this current presence today and I pray we announce this sweetness we have found to others. I have no doubt that in Him and His Kingdom we will spread the Good News as seeds for His Glory. How wonderful, how marvelous is it to live in the sweetness of God’s Kingdom.
