Today’s Scripture: Then we shall not turn back from you; give us life, and we will call upon your name! Psalm 80:18 ESV
We were made for God and when we are living for Him He leads us to the fullness of life He intended. Psalm 80 reminds us that it is God who has already cleared the way and provided the vine that feeds and covers us. God created us to be branches of His vine.
The LORD made you and me strong for Himself. His face is shining upon us. Do we look towards His light and live as if He has already cleared the way? Psalm 80:17 states “the son of man whom you have made strong for yourself!” (ESV-Emphasis is mine.)
We too were made strong for God. With Him we are strong and He gives us life. Look to His shining face, live in His salvation and call on His name and see what kind of life you find.
God gives me life. Have you found life in God too?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty God, I call upon Your name and praise You. Thank You for clearing the way. Please lead me as You lead Joseph. Use me as part of Your vine to share the life You have given us to restore those discouraged by the evil that attacks Your vine. In You is life and I thank You and praise You. Amen
