Today’s Scripture: Galatians 6:8 NLT –Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
Does the Spirit of God sometimes blow you away? Do you believe God knows your tomorrow? Have you considered how it feels or what it looks like to please the Spirit?
The Spirit of God spoke to me way back in January of 2008 that every affirmation I would ever need would be found in the Word of God. I began that day harvesting Affirmations of God. This verse gives me reassurance and renewed vigor to live only to please the Spirit. For in living to please the Spirit we receive everlasting life and God’s mercy and peace.
I honestly still do not know what the Spirit is doing with my sinful nature to bring out Spirit pleasing affirmations, but I live to please the Spirit and pray to harvest everlasting life. I live this journey to please the Spirit instead of the understanding of man. I ask the Spirit to make me satisfied in Him.

Today’s Prayer: Father God, I am humbled and blessed by Your Spirit. Thank You LORD for loving me and covering me with Your Spirit. LORD I only want to live for Your Spirit and trust You for reaping the harvest You intend for me. LORD guard my spirit and use me to share the sowing and reaping of everlasting life. Amen
